I’ve been getting a strong mixture of responses to my previous ‘dear barack” post.
clarifications: 1) i support gay marriage. 2) i do not support an occupation/ continuation of a war without any known objectives. 3) i will still vote democrat.
it was a simple statement that the president should not be thanked for something as inherently good as supporting equal rights.

Thank you for only taking four years to openly support gay marriage. we all know its hard to not be a bigot. and of course i want to extend my deep gratitude for extending the war for another ten years, your respect for the generation that single handedly elected you is astonishing. my content in knowing ten year olds today will get shot in the desert just like my graduating class is enough to send me running to the polls.
